Felted Bowl Kit. Felting is the process of creating fabric from loose animal fibers, such as wool, by combining and compressing these fibers. This kit gives you instructions and supplies to create a felted bowl by knitting the included wool yarn into a rough bowl shape that you can then shrink by washing in hot water. The result will be a soft-sculptured, boiled wool bowl similar to the picture on the pattern.
This kit contains knitting and felting instructions, two 50g skeins of GINA 100% wool yarn (Plymouth Yarn Co., Color #0004), one ChiaoGoo Stainless Steel Red Lace Size 11 - 16" circular knitting needle set and one plastic yarn needle. A Snapware 8" x 5.5" yarn holder is included to hold this kit.
The yarn is in New condition. The knitting needles and Snapware yarn holder are Gently Used.
