This was purchased from our local local fiber arts store about 6 years ago and is one of the newer kits from our stash!   Designed by  Carol Brown in 2011 and kitted by Appalachian Baby Design in 2015. Each ball of organic Cotton Yarn is 250 yards for a total 1,000 yards. Design requires 960 yards. Per Appalachian's website this Soft bay Blanket kit :
Beautiful "knit below" stitch that creates an exceptional textured baby blanket, which is an easy care machine wash and dry. Each kit contains four 250 yd. balls of U.S. Organic Cotton, and a pattern for a 35" square blanket with two finished edge options. The pattern contains a pictorial of how to knit the K4B stitch to create the knit texture. Suggested needle size is US #7. The pattern skill level is experienced.The finished blanket is machine wash and dry for easy baby care.
This kit  weighs just over 1 pound so it must go  via priority mail.
