Hello NeXT and EBay Community:   This auction is for 100% NeXT Compatible ram,  16MB Upgrade = 4 * 4mb 30 pin simms  ( Newly Manufactured for me)
The maximum ram on NeXT Cube 68040 25Mhz Motherboards is 64Mb of ram = 16 Slots  = sets of 4 * 4mb 30 pin simms
Install in sets of 4 * 4Mb with 16 Simm slots available = 16 * 4Mb = 64.
NeXT Mono Stations have 8 slots 8 * 4 = 32Mb  and the maximum is 32Mb of ram for NeXTSTATIONs. Yes this ram will work!
The 5th expansion slot on the motherboard is for a DSP expansion chip.
We pretest all our ram to make sure it is 100% NeXT compatible and does not create memory errors or damage the motherboard.
If your motherboard gives exception number 2 errors or other errors eBay has us breaking links so improvise add w's .blackholeinc.com/docs/ ; I created searchable PDF docs of many the original NeXT service manuals and trouble shooting guides for your use! Often errors are attributable to a bad or incompatible memory stick(s) or failing capacitors or other components on the motherboard. Installing the wrong ram can smoke a motherboard, I've literally seen one catch fire !
We have enough NeXT equipment in stock that if you have an odd NeXT motherboard or bios chip revision let us know and we can test ram here first with an identical Motherboard to make sure it works. The buy it now is for  4 * 4Mb = 16Mb so to max out your board to 64Mb please order 4 sets of 16mb or for a NeXT Station 2 sets of 16Mb .
You can also mix different sticks in sets of 4, for example if you have 4* 1Mb = 4 , you can add  4 * 4mb for a total of 20Mb ,
